Human Rights Day: Stop FGM.

On Human Rights Day, Sameer Padania of WITNESS asks: "what images open your eyes to human rights ?"

Female genital mutilation or excision (FGM) is not a cultural issue, it's a human right and a health issue.

  4. I'm in tears. I want to scoop her up and hold her close, make a promise to her that this barbaric practice will no longer hurt other children like her. Seems like such a distant promise.
